Late Ms. Slavica Zekavica, a European explorer was captivated by the vibrant tapestry of Sri Lanka in 1994. As she was drawn to the island’s rich biodiversity, she embarked on a quest to unlock the ancient wisdom embedded within the diverse plant life. Her fascination discovered a profound connection, where the inherent power of plants was harnessed to promote health, beauty, and well-being. Her project was graded ‘Pioneering Idea Status’ by Sri Lankan Export Development Board (EDB), a status given only to unique projects. Inspired by this legacy, Ms. Zekavica established her company – Green Leaf Herbals, dedicated to harnessing the island’s botanical treasures. Under her guidance, Mr. Pitter, an eager student, absorbed the depths of this knowledge. With Ms. Zekavica’s passing, the torch was entrusted to Mr. Pitter, who continues to lead the company with unwavering dedication to the founding principles. Today, we stand as a testament to Ms. Zekavica’s pioneering spirit and passion as Tellurian.
